The EU-funded BLOOM project and the European Federation of Geologists (EFG) are delighted to announce a special poster abstract call for students wishing to participate in the 5th International Professional Geology Conference, which will be held from 5-7 November 2025 in Zaragoza, Spain.
As part of its mission to foster innovation and knowledge-sharing in the field of critical raw materials, BLOOM will sponsor the participation of two students, offering a grant of up to €1,000 per person to support travel and accommodation costs. In addition, EFG will sponsor the participation of one student, offering a grant of up to €500. BLOOM and EFG directly settle the costs related to the students’ participation to the 5th IPGC organisers (250€ per person for catering, two persons covered by BLOOM and one person by EFG).
Poster Session
- The two accepted posters will be presented during the official poster session of the conference.
- The award ceremony will take place during the event’s closing ceremony, the awards being handed to the winners by the representatives of the BLOOM project and of EFG.
How to Apply
Students wishing to participate in this special call are invited to submit:
- A short abstract (maximum 1 page, Word format) describing the subject and relevance of their poster.
- Proof of student status (valid student ID or equivalent).
Important Information
- To be eligible for the grant, selected students must provide a proof of participation during the event.
- The grant will be reimbursed (up to €1,000) upon submission of supporting documentation proving the incurred costs.
